If your idea of a perfect camping adventure is to get back to nature and live a simpler life for a few days, then these sites might just tick your boxes.
Noongallas Campsite, Gulval, Penzance
Set in a tranquil and picturesque location, north of Penzance, Noongallas campsite offers flat pitches on sheltered terraces leading down the hillside to a wooded valley.
With views of Mount’s Bay, you couldn’t really ask for a prettier, or quieter place to unwind. The facilities on site are basic and clean, but offer everything you need for your camping break, including toilets, showers, washing up facilities and plentiful firewood.
Your hosts at the site offer a warm, friendly and laid back welcome, and are flexible to accommodate tents and campervans of all sizes. Whilst the site doesn’t offer electric hook-up, the owners will charge phones and other devices for you so that you can still take loads of photos of this beautiful site. The site itself is off the beaten track, and away from the distractions of modern life, but is easy to find from the A30.

Wild Camping Cornwall, St.Just
Within walking distance of both the coast, and Watch Croft, the highest point in West Penwith, Wild Camping Cornwall offers campers an off-grid retreat from the real world.
Owner Francesca offers visitors a choice of two wild camping pitches, a bell tent or a gypsy caravan on her bijou site, hidden between the Cornish moors and the coast. The two spacious wild camping pitches offer you 50m by 50m of space to get back to nature and cook over a real fire, something many sites don’t permit.
Facilities on site include composting toilets and gas-powered showers, so you can reduce your carbon footprint and show your respect to nature whilst enjoying everything this corner of Cornwall has to offer.

Little Bosanketh Farm Basic Campsite, St Buryan, Penzance
If your idea of the perfect holiday is a chilled out campsite close to the beautiful Sennen Cove, then Bosanketh Farm is the place for you.
With no designated pitch sizes, you can just turn up here and pitch your tent in the knowledge that you’ll be able to switch off and enjoy this basic, but peaceful campsite. And what’s even better, is that there is no need to book to enjoy this welcoming site.
Facilities include a fresh water supply and toilets, with firewood also supplied on request. The site welcomes tents, campervans and caravans throughout the summer season.

Camping in Cornwall – Glamping Sites
If the thought of bedding down under canvas fills you with trepidation, but you’d still like to enjoy all that the Cornish coastal and country areas have to offer, then maybe you’d like to consider one of our glamping options.
Meadow Lakes, Hewas Water, Saint Austell
Located on a large campsite near St Austell, Meadow Lakes offers standard and large glamping pods for those who would prefer to add a little luxury to their camping holiday.
Each pod is constructed from sustainable timber and is well insulated, ensuring year round use. Conveniently located just 4.5 miles from St Austell, you’ll have plenty to occupy your time including the famous Eden Project of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Mounts Bay Meadow Glamping, Eglos Farm, Penzance
Welcome to Eglos Farm, a traditional arable farm overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount. Here, a couple of miles outside Penzance, and just six miles from St Ives, you’ll find the three cosy, well-equipped pods of Mounts Bay Meadow Glamping site.
Powered by solar panels, and heated by an under-floor heating system, the three pods at Eglos Farm are perfectly equipped for a sophisticated camping break in Cornwall. In each pod you’ll find a kitchenette, table and chairs, sofa bed, TV and double bed. You’ll also be pleased to know that each pod features its own private en-suite shower facilities, so there are no midnight trips in the dark to use the communal facilities.
This campsite is well situated for venturing out without the car, with a bus stop just two minutes walk from the site, taking you to Penzance where you’ll find a train station.

Bos Verbas Shepherd Huts, Helston Road, Penzance
Situated on a small, quiet campsite, Bos Verbas Shepherd Huts offers a unique camping experience for your Cornish holiday.
On an elevated position above the mile long Paa Sands surfing beach, you’ll find two hand crafted shepherd huts offering panoramic views of both the countryside and south-west coastline.
Both huts are furnished with comfortable king sized beds and had the bonus of private ‘beach hut’ style bathrooms located to the rear. Inside the huts you’ll find a mini kitchen area where you can prepare food to cook and enjoy on your own BBQ and outdoor seating area.
The huts are both peaceful and private, offering a really quirky way to explore the great outdoors.

Camping in Cornwall Near to Land’s End
One of the best tourist attractions in Cornwall is arguably to visit the most westerly point of mainland England at Land’s End. With its visitor centre, shops and attractions, Land’s End is a favourite of tourists to the south-west and is a place not to be missed. If you’d like to camp nearby, here are our top three suggestions.
Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Clubsite
A pretty site on the Land’s End peninsula, Sennen Cove Clubsite offers campers easy access to both the north and south coast of Cornwall.
With some of the 72 pitches enjoying sea views and access to beautiful beaches within a short walk, you won’t find a better site to explore the most westerly tip of England.
The site itself boasts a play area, playing field, small shop and laundry, with a fish and chip van also visiting the site twice a week during the peak season. The sit offers various pitch types, including those with electric hook-up and is well known in the area for the helpful and friendly onsite staff.

- Great location for keen walkers – just a 25 minute walk to Gwynver Beach, 45 minute walk to Sennen Cove and 90 minute walk to Land’s End.
- Lots of facilities onsite
- Some pitches enjoy a sea view

- The site is a Camping and Caravanning Clubsite – membership is required
- Whilst this is one of the nearest campsites to Land’s End, you would still need transport unless you are prepared to walk for 90 minutes.

Trevedra Farm, Sennen, Penzance
A real Cornish welcome awaits you when you arrive to Trevedra Farm, located just one mile from Land’s End.
John and Wendy Nicholas are the 4th generation of the Nicholas family to run the farm, which has been in the family for 85 years.
Listed in the Domesday Book as Treveddrah, meaning farm on the beach, this campsite is just that – the site is within walking distance of Gwynver Beach, Sennen Cove and Land’s End. Onsite facilities include a shop and café serving excellent food, a laundry and even wetsuit showers for the surfers amongst you.
The pitches are large, the site is relaxed and many visitors return year on year because of the welcome and excellent cliff top location.

- Walk to the beach is steep, not suitable for a pushchair or disabled people

Lower Treave Caravan and Camping Park, Crows-An-Wra, Penzance
A secluded, family run campsite located just 2 miles from Sennen Cove, Lower Treave Park offers campers leveled and private pitches both with and without electric hookup.
With a David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation, this site encourages you to relax and take a break, whilst respecting the natural beauty of Cornwall too.
The modern facilities onsite include metered sockets in the bathrooms, and indoor washing-up area, laundry and free of charge fridges and freezers for your convenience.
The Bliss family have been running the site for 20 years now and in 2018 reorganised the site to allow for fewer, more spacious pitches – something their visitors have appreciated.
